Document Privacy & Processing
When you view or edit files in DocsStudio (including PDF, Plain Text, Markdown, CSV, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Images), all data processing is performed completely in-memory and on your local device.
JRP Apps does not collect, transmit, store, or inspect the contents of your documents on external servers. Your files remain strictly under your control.
Storage Access Framework (SAF)
DocsStudio utilizes Android's native Storage Access Framework (SAF). The App only accesses documents that you explicitly choose to open or create through the system file picker or via the "Open with" intent.
DocsStudio does not request broad file system access or scan your private storage directories.
Local App Data & History
To enhance your experience, DocsStudio locally stores your preferences (such as light/dark theme, autosave settings, and recent documents history with your last viewed page or scroll position).
This metadata is stored strictly in your device's private app sandbox and is never synchronized to cloud servers. You can clear your recent documents history at any time from within Settings.
Device Permissions
DocsStudio does not require access to your device contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or phone state. Sharing or opening files in external apps occurs only when you deliberately initiate those actions.
Third-Party & Platform Services
The App may rely on standard platform services such as Google Play Services where necessary for core Android OS operations and app installation. Any information handled by platform services is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Advertising & Tracking
DocsStudio contains no third-party advertising SDKs, tracking libraries, or user-profiling services.
Data Sharing & Selling
JRP Apps does not sell, rent, monetize, or disclose user data to third parties.
Children's Privacy
DocsStudio does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. Since the App operates completely offline with zero account requirements, it is safe for general audiences of all ages.
Data Retention & Deletion
All local application data can be removed at any time by selecting "Clear Recent Documents" in Settings, clearing the App data in Android system settings, or uninstalling the App.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if future features or regulatory requirements change. The latest version will always be maintained and accessible on this page.
