Privacy Policy

Arrow Escape is a tactical maze puzzle game designed for directional planning, timing, and logical moves across Classic, Vivid, and Geometry game modes.

Player-first privacy. You can play Arrow Escape entirely offline as a guest with 100% local device storage, or optionally sign in with Google to sync your game progression across devices and compete on global leaderboards. We never sell your personal data.

1. Information We Collect and Process

Depending on how you use Arrow Escape, we may process the following types of information:

  • Local Gameplay Data: Completed levels, stars earned, unlocked puzzle packs across Classic, Vivid, and Geometry modes, coin balances, hint inventory, and game settings (sound effects, haptics, themes). By default, this data is stored locally on your device.
  • Optional Account Data: If you choose to sign in using Google Sign-In (powered by Firebase Authentication), we receive your basic profile identifiers such as your account ID, display name, and email address. This information is used solely to authenticate your account, secure your cloud saves, and display your chosen player name.
  • Leaderboard & Tournament Data: If you participate in online leaderboards (All-Time, Weekly, Monthly, or Tournament events), your chosen player display name, high scores, and completion stats are transmitted to our secure Cloud Firestore database to display rankings.
  • Diagnostics & Technical Telemetry: Anonymized error reports, crash logs, and operating system metrics may be collected to help us optimize game performance and resolve stability issues.

2. How Your Information Is Used

We use the processed information strictly to provide and improve the game experience:

  • To save, maintain, and restore your puzzle progress across gaming sessions.
  • To sync game progress across multiple devices when signed into your account.
  • To calculate fair, real-time leaderboard rankings and distribute tournament badges and coin awards.
  • To serve optional rewarded video ads (providing free hints or coin rewards) and regular advertisements.
  • To maintain platform security, prevent score tampering, and diagnose software crashes.

3. Third-Party Services and Partners

Arrow Escape integrates trusted third-party services that process data in accordance with their respective privacy policies:

  • Google Firebase (Authentication & Cloud Firestore): Used for secure user sign-in, cloud save backup, and online leaderboards. Read the Firebase Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdMob: Used to display banner, interstitial, and user-requested rewarded video advertisements. AdMob may collect pseudonymous device identifiers in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Google Play Store / Apple App Store: In-app purchases (such as coin packs or the "No Ads" upgrade) are processed directly by platform app stores. We never receive or store your payment card numbers or banking details.

4. Device Permissions

Arrow Escape requires only standard permissions necessary for regular gameplay and network synchronization. Specifically:

  • The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, or precise GPS location.
  • Internet permission is used solely to authenticate accounts, sync cloud saves, fetch leaderboard entries, and deliver advertisements.

5. Data Retention and Player Control

We believe players should have full control over their data:

  • Guest Players: All game data is stored solely in local device storage. Clearing app storage or uninstalling the app deletes all local progress immediately.
  • Cloud Accounts: Account data remains backed up in our secure cloud storage until you choose to delete it.

6. Children's Privacy

Arrow Escape is designed as a family-friendly puzzle game suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us at support@jrphub.com so we can promptly delete the data.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new game modes, updated legal regulations, or revised service integrations. Any updates will be posted directly to this page with an updated revision date.
